Well hello there...
Ok. First off. Sorry. I Absolutely FAILED at giving regular updates. It turns out regular updates just aren't my thing! Going forward, I am going to do my best, updating as often as possible. With that in mind. Let's give some updates!
TEASER
Did you see the Teaser? It's on the homepage, it's all very exciting if brief. That was the 6th version as well, I edited that for quite some time!
If you liked that, there's a lovely piece to camera from me coming in the next month as well. How exciting right? My face, on camera!
EPISODE 1
I had a lovely evening with my parents and a good friend of mine where we did the first ever readthrough of project Redux. A MASSIVE moment for me, and it was overall a very successful one too! Feedback such as "It builds suspense well", "I can visualise this" and "You spelt that wrong". All in all, a wonderful time.
Am I happy with Episode 1? Well, not quite, but then I am a perfectionist, will I ever be happy? Its good though. I like how it's evolved from idea to idea. It's not my strongest script (I think that might be episode 2), but equally, it ain't no 'Space Babies' so I feel good about that.
OTHER UPDATES
So I have some exciting prospects to share today. Firstly MUSIC. Yes! I have reached out to a popular producer and composer of Doctor Who music on Youtube and I'm in discussions with commissioning ACTUAL themes for my Companion and My Doctor! It's exciting but it's early days!
Short Stories are also coming along nicely, 6 short stories, with a monologue recording, a track of music and perhaps a couple of sketches that will be the prologues of Series 1. So again, exciting.
ROADMAP
So with the updates out the way, I can share that we are still looking on track for 2026 release (Hopefully Q1!). There's still so much to finish and perfect.
Oh and Episode 4... Still almost nothing... A nice montage moment which involves Cupid, alien alligators and a dodgy Scottish accent... but otherwise nothing.
As always, if you're reading this, I am eternally grateful! Speak to you all soon, Tutty-Bye
