It's Nearly Go Time! (Script Extract inside!)

Ok. So. As the title of this blog states... IT'S NEARLY GO TIME (AAAHH!)

Yes! I know, after lots and lots of "Coming soon" posts, this one might actually be the final one!

UPDATES UPDATES UPDATES!

With Episode Zero - Change in it's second draft and in the hands of a select few, I have been working with feedback and thus far made the following changes:

• FORMAT: Episode Zero was too long, not everyone was finding the time to read all 125 pages (and this was with the final 30 taken out... Spoilers!), thus I made a decision to make it easier to pick-up and read without the lengthy "Page 1 of 5 quuintillion" looming. Thus Change will now be released in 5 parts each aiming at 30-40 pages each... ahh... digestible.

  
  

• BADWOLF EXPLAINED: Some of those reading episode Zero were either non-fans of Doctor Who or not up to date anymore, with that came lots of "I don't get it" moments, whilst I expected these, there were a few more than I was expecting. Thus I've gone in, made adjustments and tried to find the perfect balance of explaining and withholding information from the reader/viewer.

  
  

• RESEARCH: One of my most valuable feedbacks has been to strike the realistic approach for certain characters and timezones. I love the quirky, cheesy, fun vibe that Doctor Who carries with it amongst impending doom, but again striking that perfect balance is KEY, I feel that I have done that now with this script.

WHAT NEXT?

Ok so! Here's where it get's exciting! I've managed to work out several key logistics in regards to recording my scripts as a "Dramatic Reading". I hope to release the scripts as PDF files for all to read but also to have an audiobook style video to watch or listen along to, complete with soundtracks to boot!

To explain further, I have invested in utilising a new up and coming music production studio that helps realise themes and music that has lived in my head for countless months (even years) and bring it to a reality, yes, it uses Ai to assist with this, but as a pioneer and supporter of the creative industry I believe with 100% transparency and enough of an organic input, this will really enhance the project.

WHEN?

Recording begins on the 27th April, and for that week I aim to record ATLEAST Parts 1 and 2 of CHANGE, edit them, and get them ready for release.

As it stands I'm not 100% sure how I plan to release the episodes/parts, ideally together would be nice to allow everyone to choose their pace, but logistically weekly might work best in allowing the time and effort in turning it all around (1 man team here!).

But you wanted a date? There's no exact dates yet, but I'm making this promise, Part 1 WILL be released...MAY.
